This rod has been used for very light duty, never kept in a rod locker, or otherwise abused.I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt on the first one but this one broke in exactly the same spot under very light usage.Instead of paying the replacement - into the trash it goes and I'll just cut my losses and move on to a more durable option because clearly my luck with the 703 isn't great
