The first whisky in the country was produced here as early as 1494, and today the distillery continues this historical legacy. The Lindores Single Malt 1494 matures in a combination of Bourbon casks, Sherry butts, and wine barrels. Bourbon casks contribute sweet vanilla and honey notes, Sherry butts add a fruity component,
