This is a truly superb Guatemalan dark rum, blended using an ageing process known as the Solera system. Sublime stuff. Very sweet and nutty with honey and chocolate. Dark brown sugar, gentle smoke and pipe tobacco. Finishes thick, medium length with a hint of smoke on the tail. This was matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks.
